Fixed on 2026-09-16: Oral and Written show again
From the evening of 15 September until 16 September, a teacher with Subjects ticks in HRM › Assign Classes for Teacher App saw e.g. "Computer (0.0)" on Create Award List and got only Test Type and Exam Date — no Oral and Written boxes. It was a server fault, now fixed for every Teacher App version; nothing needs reinstalling. If the screen was already open, close Create Award List and open it again: it reads "Computer (Marks)" and both boxes are back.
The Oral and Written boxes
- A Marks-graded item gets an Oral and a Written box. Type the total marks of each part — e.g. Oral 10, Written 40 — at least one of the two.
- The award list total is Oral + Written (50 here). Teachers enter each child's obtained marks against it in Add Marks.
- Checkbox and Direct Grading items have no marks boxes; that is correct (grading type: exams-022).
What the Teacher App offers in each list
- Campus, Class, Sections: only what is ticked for the teacher in HRM › Assign Classes for Teacher App (Diary/Exam or Subjects).
- Sessions, Groups: only the ones held by active students in those sections — a year nobody studies in any more is not offered. From Teacher App 7.3.3 both narrow again as campus, class and sections are picked.
- Something expected is missing: no active child of that section carries it — check Admissions › Manage Students (exams-001).
Student Filtering
Class Wise or Subject Wise. Older Teacher App builds called the second one "Section Wise", which the server refused with "The selected student filtering is invalid" — update the Teacher App from the Play Store (7.3.3 or later).
Steps
- Teacher App › Add Marks › Create Award List
- Pick Campus, Class, Sections, then Sessions, Groups and Genders
- For each Marks item choose Test Type and Exam Date, and type the Oral and/or Written total
- Choose Student Filtering › CREATE AWARD LIST
