New → Lesson Planning is where a school starts. Start with a scheme of studies and its units and topics. Teachers create lesson plans against those topics and submit them for approval. Approvers review and return or approve the plans. Coverage and compliance screens show which topics are taught and which plans are still due. A reminder is a recorded workflow item; outbound messages require separate setup.
If New or this module is missing, ask EDUBase support to check your institute’s module availability. If the module appears but a screen or action is denied, ask your school administrator to check the matching privilege in Admin → Users & Privileges.
The New menu is between General and Core. It appears only when the institute has an enabled new module, and lists only enabled modules. Staff privileges still control access.
