Admissions › Payment History lists what one student has actually paid — the date, the amount and the challan it went against. It is the screen to open when a parent keh raha ho ke fees to di thi — you can see for yourself whether it was received, and on what date.
It is also the answer to "is bachay ne kab kab fees jama karwai?": the record is date wise, so you can see every date on which money came in for that child. Ek bachay ki payment history nikalni ho to yahan se nikalti hai, and there is a Print option for handing the record to a parent.
Purane students — the ones who have left
Payments made by children who are no longer enrolled are not here. They are on Extras › Students Not Currently Enrolled › Payment History. That is the same report over students outside your current roll — useful when an old family comes back asking for a record.
Last month's payment — Paid Challans
Admissions › Paid Challans answers the same question challan by challan: search the student by name, roll number or student number and every challan they have paid is listed, with the month, the status (partially paid or fully paid) and the amount paid. Use it when you need to know how much of a particular month was paid.

Payment history or fee audit?
Different questions:
- Payment History — what came in, and when
- Finance › Fee Audit Report — what a student was charged over time, including the class and session each challan was issued under, which promotions cannot rewrite
Use payment history for "did they pay", and the fee audit report for "what were they billed".
Steps
- Go to Admissions › Payment History
- Find the student
- Read the payments, or print the record
Common confusion
"A payment is missing." It may have been taken as a family payment against a sibling's record, or recorded under a different month. Check the family's other children.
"The parent has a receipt but the system does not show it." The receipt was printed but the payment was never saved, or it was later unpaid or reversed. The challan's own history will show which.
