Is there one place where I can see everything about one student — a full report of attendance, marks, fees, conduct, complaints — on one screen (Student 360°) instead of opening six reports?

Last updated

Yes — Admissions › Student 360°. Search a student by name, SID, roll number, admission number or family number, and it opens their whole record on one page: profile, a 360° score, risk signals, their journey through the school, marks, attendance, class position, fee position, conduct, meeting notes, complaints, certificates and siblings.

It is the screen for bachay ki poori report ek jagah chahiye — the whole picture on one page, for example parent meeting se pehle poora record dekhna hai — instead of opening Manage Students, the attendance report, the exam report and the fee screen one after another and lining them up by hand.

Who can see it

There are three separate permissions, and they were rolled out differently on purpose:

  • Admission :: Student 360 Dashboard — read the report. Already given to your existing staff logins, so the screen should be in your Admissions menu now.
  • Admission :: Student 360 Conduct Log — record appreciations and warnings. Also already given.
  • Admission :: Student 360 Meeting Notes — record meeting notes, and read notes someone marked Confidential. Given to nobody — your school decides who gets it.

Meeting notes were held back deliberately: a Confidential note only stays off the front desk while few people hold this permission. Grant it (and remove any of the three) in Admin › Users & Privileges. A user added after the rollout starts with none of the three.

One period, everywhere

Every section on the page uses the same date range, shown at the top. If your school has set an academic year, that is the default; otherwise it runs from 1 January to today. Change it once and the whole page moves together.

The only exception is the result-trend line, which deliberately shows the child's whole history — "has this child improved since they joined" is a different question from "how is this term going".

The 360° Score

It is a weighted average of six measured things: Attendance (25), Academic (25), Consistency (15), Fee (15), Conduct (10) and Engagement (10) — ordinary arithmetic, not a prediction.

A signal with no data is left out of the average, never counted as zero. If your school has not marked attendance yet this term, attendance simply does not take part, and the page says so under the score. Each of the six is listed beside the gauge with its own value and a one-line reason, so if the score looks wrong you can see which part produced it.

Attendance rules that surprise people

  • Late and Short Leave count as present — the same as every other attendance report in EDUBase
  • Off Days are removed from the total, not counted against the student
  • Unmarked days are not absences. They are days in the range where nobody marked the register. They are shown separately and excluded from the percentage — if that number is large, fix the register before reading the percentage

Only the attendance codes your school has switched on are shown.

Fee

Worked out exactly as Student Wise Fee Status works it out — from the money, not from the challan's status flag. Late fee and attendance fine are already inside the payable amount. A challan waived in full by discount counts as paid, because the family owes nothing.

If the student has no challan for the period, the screen says so rather than showing zero — a child with no challan is invisible to every report built from challans.

Conduct — a record your school did not have before

Each entry is an appreciation or a warning, with a severity of Minor, Moderate or Serious, and it feeds the Conduct part of the score.

  • A serious warning costs more than a serious appreciation earns — three "good in sports" entries should not cancel a serious incident
  • An entry keeps the value it had when it was written, so past entries never silently change

Meeting notes and the Confidential tick

Record a conversation with the student, with a teacher or with a guardian, plus what happens next. This is not the PTM module — PTM is a scheduled meeting day with parent feedback; these are your own notes, written any time.

Ticking Confidential hides the body of the note from everyone except the person who wrote it and users holding the Meeting Notes permission. The note's date and type stay visible to everyone, so two staff members can never write contradicting notes about the same meeting without seeing that the other exists.

Risk signal

Five checks run each time you open the page: attendance falling, results declining, fee overdue, a conduct pattern, and a complaint left open. Risk is raised by things happening together, not by any single number, and every flag names the figure that raised it.

What it deliberately does not show

  • Homework completion. The Student Diary is recorded per class, not per child, so there is no honest way to say what percentage of homework one student finished.
  • Anything your school has not recorded. An empty section says which data is missing rather than showing a made-up number.

Printing and exporting

Print produces the report on your school's letterhead with the student's name and the period on it. CSV exports the same figures section by section for a spreadsheet.

It does not replace the source screens

Every section links back to the report it came from. If a number looks wrong, follow the link — Manage Students, Student Wise Fee Status, the attendance and exam reports are the authority, and this page only gathers what they already say.
