Almost certainly not. The report comes from Core › AI Account Scanning & Auditing — the AI data audit of your school's database — and its findings are questions to verify, not a list of errors. The commonest finding in the scan is a record marked Currently Enrolled that also carries a leaving date, and the usual reason is completely normal: the child left and later came back.
On re-admission the status is set back to enrolled, and the old date correctly stays on the record as history. Across all EDUBase schools the large majority of these were confirmed re-enrolments — the system working, not a fault.
The scan never changes anything
It is a read-only check that lists records which look contradictory so a person can confirm them. It does not correct, move, create or delete anything, and there is no "fix it" button. A finding is a question, not a verdict.
What to do about a finding
The report gives you a few example IDs. Open those from All Students and compare them with the admission file. If the child did return, nothing needs doing. If something really was mistyped, correct it on that record's own screen.
Two findings are worth a closer look than the rest: a record admitted after its own leaving date but still marked as having left can mean a child sitting in class today whom the system counts as gone, which affects strength and fee generation; and a date the reports cannot read (usually from an old import) is skipped by anything that filters on that date, though the value is still shown exactly as it was typed.
DUPLICATE RECORD is not an error at all — that status is how the system deliberately parks a record entered twice so the original stays intact and nothing is deleted.
Can we see the report ourselves?
The web screen (Core › AI Account Scanning & Auditing) is for EDUBase staff only, and only they can start a scan — ask in your support group to have one run, and your EDUBase contact will go through it with you. The school's administrator login can read the latest report in the Owner App; a teacher or clerk login there sees "This report is available to the institute administrator only."
