Extras › Students By User shows only the students your own login entered — sirf apne add kiye hue students, nobody else's. The page is even titled Students by <your username>. It is not a filtered view of the whole school; it is your own work.
That is why fewer students show here (kam students dikh rahe hain) than on Extras › All Students, which lists every student at the campuses you can see. The smaller count is expected, not a fault.
What you can do from it
The same actions as the other student lists — add a student, update one, batch transfer, bulk update, assign an exam hall, print a blank form, and open the change log — but only over your own records.
When it is useful
- Checking your own day's admissions before going home
- A data-entry team where each person needs to review what they entered
- Finding a student you added a moment ago without searching the whole school
Steps
- Go to Extras › Students By User
- The list is already limited to students you entered (filtered on the record's Created By = your username)
- Use the same actions as any other student list
Common confusion
"Kam students dikh rahe hain — a student I know exists is missing." Somebody else entered them. Use Extras › All Students.
"Can I see another user's students, or who added which student?" Not from this screen. Use the Created By column — shown by default on Admissions › Manage Students, and on Extras › All Students switched on from the grid settings gear. It shows the username that entered each record and can be filtered by that name. The record's Change Log shows the same, with the date.
