The colours come out white — turn on "Background graphics"
This is a browser print setting, not a software fault. When the print box opens (Ctrl+P):
- Open More settings
- Tick Background graphics
Without that tick the browser drops every background colour, so the card prints on plain white. The same applies to employee cards.
Saving the cards as a colour PDF
In the same print box (Ctrl+P), change Destination from your printer to Save as PDF (some computers call it Print as PDF / Microsoft Print to PDF), turn on Background graphics under More settings, then Save. You get a PDF in full colour to send or take to a print shop. Cards can be saved as PDF only — there is no JPG download.

Changing the card's colour (e.g. to green) and logo
The card takes its colours and logo from your campus:
- Colour — go to Core › Campus, press the palette button (Change Theme) on your campus row, set the Primary / Secondary / Accent / Neutral colours on Select Branding Color Theme, and press Save Theme (or Update Theme). Reprint the cards.
- Logo — Core › Campus, edit the campus and upload the logo there.
The same theme and logo also feed result cards, certificates and other printouts.

Photo on the card
Upload a passport-size photo on the student's record. Photos of other shapes still print, but can sit higher or lower in the frame.
QR code on the card
The student card can carry the student's QR code, which the QR Attendance and Face Attendance apps scan. To print only the codes, use Extras › Student QR Code.
